3rd Day in Paris

I got up around 6:45 this morning, took a shower and then had a breakfast of cereal, coffee and pineapple juice. Then I made my lunch of a turkey sandwich, sparkling water, a tangerine and ketchup chips, which are really yummy. Then we walked to the metro, which is across the street from her apartment building, the metro is really easy to take. Then we walked to her school from the metro which is past a public school and near to a couple of bakeries and a Subway. After I had Math class, which was easy to understand, History class, which was really boring because they watched a movie that I didn't understand at all, lastly I sat in on her Spanish class. Then the French group walked to the Trocodero gardens and we had lunch in the grass which was fun. Then we walked to a boat ride called Bateaux Parisiens. It was really amazing seeing all the beautiful architecture along the Seine river. Then we all went out to cafes in three smaller groups which was really fun. I had a creme brulee and and coke, weird combination but quite delicious. Then we went back to school and I went home with Camille.

2nd Day in Paris

I woke up kind of late today, around 11am, though I fell in and out of sleep all night. I slept with my hair clips in and it broke while I was sleeping. After a breakfast of coffee and a croissant, I got in the shower and got all my stuff together to leave for their house in the city. During breakfast I met Alec, Camille's older brother, whose room I'll be staying in while I'm in Paris. Before we went to their apartment we drove to Versailles, after a 30 minute walk in the forest near their house. At lunch, which I had before we left for Versailles, We had mustard fish, vegetables and I had escargot with olive oil. The escargot was amazing! At Versailles we walked around the King and Queen's apartments. After walking around we went to the Angelina Cafe inside, Camille and I had the hot chocolate and I had a chocolate eclair, which was delicious. After a walk around the gardens of Versailles we went to their apartment in the city. It was really nice, African themed, though Camille's room was Asian themed and Alec's room was NYC themed. For dinner we had tortellini and salad. Afterwards I had some grapes. Then Camille and I hung out and listened to music while Camille painted her nails for school the next day. It was a really great night.

My first day in paris plus the plane ride

The plane over was great, I got to listen to music, watch movies and hang out. I couldn't sleep much though and Maddy wwas either sleepiing or almost sleeping. The Dulles Airport was really cool, I hung out with Grant and Henry, we went Wendy's and got something to eat before gettin on the plane. Once on the plane, Maddy and I watched Tangled and I watched a little bit of Due Date, which I have already seen. I had some tortellini on the plance which was very good. When we were near the end of the flight me and Maddy played a crossword on my nookcolor. When my french friend and her mom and little brother picked me up from the airport we went to their home in the country which is common in France. The house was Beautiful! It had a trampoline, playset and small pool all in the backyard/garden which was huge. There was also a fireplace plus in the garden there was a little house where camille and her older brother Alec, who is 18 but will be 18 soon, live. I got to share a room with Camille that night but we went lots of places before then.

Some say the early bird gets the worm, well I've never been very into bugs. Anyway I'm still packing, with just an hour before I have to leave home for school, when I get there we'll all pile onto the bus and off to the aeroporte we will go. Our plane leaves at, 5 or so. I'm really excited burlt also so nervous. I've never left the country without my mom before so it's gonna be interesting. Well I should probably get back to packing.
